I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama and a Master of Arts in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. With experience in unique settings, I have worked extensively with families, individuals, and adolescents, helping them navigate life’s challenges.
I work closely with clients and their families, offering warmth, acceptance, and support while meeting you exactly where you are. As your counselor, my goal is to build a strong connection with you, empowering you to achieve your personal goals.
I use a blend of client-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to provide practical tools tailored to your needs, helping you manage life changes, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, grief, and trauma. For younger clients, I incorporate play therapy, creating a supportive space where children and families can work together toward shared goals.

Services
I offer a range of specialized therapy services to address various needs. My expertise includes individual counseling, family therapy, and adolescent and teen counseling.
Individual Sessions
During individual therapy sessions, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings. We’ll work together at your pace, focusing on your unique needs and goals. My approach is supportive and non-judgmental, offering guidance and practical strategies to help you navigate life’s challenges and make positive changes.
Family Therapy Sessions
In family therapy sessions, I foster a safe and supportive environment where all members feel heard and respected. We’ll work together to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships, focusing on the unique dynamics and needs of your family. My approach is supportive and collaborative, guiding your family toward healthier interactions and deeper connections.
Play Therapy
Utilizing play therapy, I aim to create an engaging atmosphere where individuals can express themselves freely. Along with creative techniques like games, art, and storytelling, I incorporate sand tray work to help adolescents explore their inner world through symbolic play. This approach allows them to process emotions and experiences in a tangible way. My empathetic and supportive style helps adolescents navigate challenges, build coping skills, and gain insight into their experiences in a comfortable and non-judgmental setting.
“Do not wait: the time will never be 'just right'. Start where you stand, and work whatever tools you may have at your command and better tools will be found as you go along.”
